Obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive services professor Pamela Mellon and molecular virology researcher and professor Aleem Siddiqui were named as fellows, along with 441 other doctors, scientists and researchers around the country. Fellows are recognized for their scientifically and socially distinguished work that advances the scientific field. Read more hereI always love to visit patch.com. Patch is my favorite online website to visit. Since I am a teacher, I am always interested in the School's section. I read that 2 UCSD Professors named National Scientific Research Fellows. It is very nice to know that two professors at UC San Diego’s School of Medicine were named fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of science. These two are Pamela Mellon and Aleem Siddiqui. Mellon is an Obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive services professor while Siddiqui is a molecular virology researcher and professor. These two deserve their recognition. I am happy that they were acknowledged.
